Low Acid Coffee in India: How to Drink Coffee Without Acidity, Heartburn or Bloating
Share
Love coffee but hate the acidity after?
You are not alone. Many people enjoy coffee but feel discomfort when the cup is too sharp, too strong, or taken on an empty stomach.
The first fix is the roast. Medium to dark roasts often feel smoother and less sharp than very light roasts.
The second fix is the brew method. Cold brew is naturally smoother because it is steeped slowly in cold water. It often feels less acidic than hot-brewed coffee.
The third fix is timing. Drinking coffee right after waking up or on an empty stomach may not suit everyone. Try having it after a small breakfast.
You can also add milk if black coffee feels too strong. Milk can make the cup softer and more balanced.

Try this:
Choose medium to dark roast
Avoid very strong black coffee on an empty stomach
Try cold brew
Use milk if needed
Do not overbrew your coffee
Coffee should feel like a good start, not a struggle.
If acidity, heartburn, or bloating continue often, speak to a doctor. But for everyday coffee comfort, start with a smoother roast and a simpler brew.
Your first cup should feel ready, not risky.
